Whole-Home Water Filtration for St. Louis

Softening and carbon filtration off your main line, treating every tap in the house. The right starting point for most St. Louis city-water homes.

What is included

One system. Every tap.

The flagship bundle combines water softening with whole-home carbon filtration and adds under-sink reverse osmosis for your drinking water. You get treated water from every faucet, fixture, and appliance in the house.

Water softener

Removes dissolved calcium and magnesium that cause scale on fixtures, film on dishes, and extra wear on your water heater and appliances. St. Louis water tests consistently hard, often 15 or more grains per gallon.

Carbon filtration

Targets chloramines, the disinfectant Missouri American Water uses. Removes the chemical taste and odor before water reaches any tap. Premium activated carbon, not the bargain grade.

Quality bypass valve

The bypass valve controls flow and isolation for the whole system. We do not cut corners on the hardware that runs every day.

Premium media

High-grade coconut-shell carbon targets chloramines and taste compounds. Ion-exchange resin removes dissolved hardness minerals. Both chosen for durability and performance in St. Louis water conditions.

Under-sink reverse osmosis

A tankless RO unit at your kitchen sink with its own dedicated faucet. Removes chloramines, PFAS, heavy metals, and other dissolved contaminants from your drinking water at the tap.

Professional local install

A professional local installer handles the install, usually within the same week you schedule. You do not pay anything until the job is done and you are happy with it.

Why both softening and carbon? Softening handles hardness minerals; carbon handles chloramines. In St. Louis you need both. The bundle treats the problems that are actually in your supply rather than the ones that made good marketing copy for someone else.
Built for St. Louis

Your water has a specific profile.

Most filtration companies sell the same system to every market. We built this bundle around what Missouri American Water actually delivers to St. Louis homes.

Hard water from limestone geology

The Mississippi and Missouri river valleys sit on thick limestone bedrock. Dissolved calcium and magnesium travel right through the municipal treatment plant and straight to your home. A softener removes them before they reach your fixtures, pipes, and appliances.

Chloramines from Missouri American Water

Missouri American Water switched to chloramine disinfection because chloramines last longer in distribution pipes. They also do not boil or aerate away the way plain chlorine does. Whole-home carbon filtration removes them before they reach any faucet.

Aging distribution infrastructure

Many St. Louis neighborhoods, especially in south city and older inner suburbs, have documented lead service lines in the distribution network. Under-sink RO at the drinking tap is the most reliable line of defense for your household's drinking water.
